त्वं महाँ इन्द्र यो ह शुष्मैर्द्यावा जज्ञानः पृथिवी अमे धाः । यद्ध ते विश्वा गिरयश्चिदभ्वा भिया दृळ्हासः किरणा नैजन् ॥tvam mahām̐ indra yo ha śuṣmair dyāvā jajñānaḥ pṛthivī ame dhāḥ | yad dha te viśvā girayaś cid abhvā bhiyā dṛḻhāsaḥ kiraṇā naijan ||
Indra, you are the mighty one, who, becoming manifest in (the hour of) alarm, did sustain by your energies heaven and earth; then, through fear of you, all creatures, and the mountains, and all other vast and solid things, trembled, like the (tremulous) rays of the sun.
因陀羅,你是大能者,在驚慌的時刻示現出來,用你的能量支撐了天地; 然後,由於對你的恐懼,所有的生物、山脈和所有其他廣闊而堅固的東西都在顫抖,就像太陽的光線一樣。

आ यद्धरी इन्द्र विव्रता वेरा ते वज्रं जरिता बाह्वोर्धात् । येनाविहर्यतक्रतो अमित्रान्पुर इष्णासि पुरुहूत पूर्वीः ॥ā yad dharī indra vivratā ver ā te vajraṃ jaritā bāhvor dhāt | yenāviharyatakrato amitrān pura iṣṇāsi puruhūta pūrvīḥ ||
When, Indra, you harness your variously moving horses, your praiser plural ces your thunderbolt in your hands, wherewith, accom;oisher of undesired acts, you assail your enemies, and glorified by many, destroy their numerous cities

You, Indra, the best of all beings, the assailer and humiliator (of your foes), the chief ot the Ṛbhus, the friend of man, the subduer of enemies, did aid the young and illustrious Kutsa, and slew Śuṣna, in the deadly and close-fought fight.
你,因陀羅,眾生中最優秀的人,你是敵人的攻擊者和羞辱者,聖人的首領,人類的朋友,敵人的征服者,你幫助了年輕而傑出的Kutsa,並在致命近戰中殺死了Śuṣna。
1-63-4
त्वं ह त्यदिन्द्र चोदीः सखा वृत्रं यद्वज्रिन्वृषकर्मन्नुभ्नाः । यद्ध शूर वृषमणः पराचैर्वि दस्यूँर्योनावकृतो वृथाषाट् ॥tvaṃ ha tyad indra codīḥ sakhā vṛtraṃ yad vajrin vṛṣakarmann ubhnāḥ | yad dha śūra vṛṣamaṇaḥ parācair vi dasyūm̐r yonāv akṛto vṛthāṣāṭ ||
You verily did animate him to (acquire) such (renown) as that which, sender of rain and wielder of the thunderbolt, you (dis-acquire) when you slew Vṛtra, and when, munificent hero, who easily conquer (your foes) you did put to fight the Dasyus in battle.

Do you, Indra, who are unwilling to harm any resolute (mortal), set open all the quarters (of the horizon) to the horses of us who praise you, (when we are exposed) to the aversion (of our enemies); and, wielder of the thunderbolt, demolish our foes, as with a club.
因陀羅,你不願意傷害任何堅定的凡人,你是否願意向我們讚美你的馬匹,開放地平線上所有區域,當我們面對我們所厭惡時?並且,雷霆的揮舞者,像用棍棒一樣摧毀我們的敵人。

त्वां ह त्यदिन्द्रार्णसातौ स्वर्मीळ्हे नर आजा हवन्ते । तव स्वधाव इयमा समर्य ऊतिर्वाजेष्वतसाय्या भूत् ॥tvāṃ ha tyad indrārṇasātau svarmīḻhe nara ājā havante | tava svadhāva iyam ā samarya ūtir vājeṣv atasāyyā bhūt ||
Men invoke you, such as you are, in the thick-throned and wealth-bestowing conflict. May this your succour, powerful Indra, ever be granted in war, worthy to be enjoyed (by warriors) in battle.
在權力和財富的衝突中,人們會召喚你,就像你一樣。強大的因陀羅,願您在戰爭中永遠獲得這種援助,值得戰士們在戰鬥中享受。
1-63-7
त्वं ह त्यदिन्द्र सप्त युध्यन्पुरो वज्रिन्पुरुकुत्साय दर्दः । बर्हिर्न यत्सुदासे वृथा वर्गंहो राजन्वरिवः पूरवे कः ॥tvaṃ ha tyad indra sapta yudhyan puro vajrin purukutsāya dardaḥ | barhir na yat sudāse vṛthā varg aṃho rājan varivaḥ pūrave kaḥ ||
Indra, wielder of the thunderbolt, warring on behalf of Purukutsa, you did overturn the seven cities; you did cut off for Sudāsa wealth of Aṅhas, as if (it had been a tuft) of sacred grass, and did give it to him, O king, ever satiating you (with oblations).
因陀羅,雷電的持有者,為Purukutsa而戰,你確實推翻了七座城市;您確實為Sudāsa切斷了Aṅhas的財富,就好像它曾經是一簇聖草一樣,並將其送給了他,國王啊,永遠以供奉來滿足您。

Increase, divine Indra, for us throughout the earth, abundant food, (that it may be as plural ntiful) as water, by which, hero, you bestow upon us (existence), as you cause water to flow on every side.
神聖的因陀羅,請為我們整個地球增加豐富的食物,如水一樣。英雄,您透過這些食物賜予我們,就像您使水在四面八方流動一樣。
1-63-9
अकारि त इन्द्र गोतमेभिर्ब्रह्माण्योक्ता नमसा हरिभ्याम् । सुपेशसं वाजमा भरा नः प्रातर्मक्षू धियावसुर्जगम्यात् ॥akāri ta indra gotamebhir brahmāṇy oktā namasā haribhyām | supeśasaṃ vājam ā bharā naḥ prātar makṣū dhiyāvasur jagamyāt ||
Praises have been offered to you, Indra, by the sons of Gotama; (they have been) uttered with reverence (to you), borne (hither) by your steeds; grant us various sorts of food. May he who has acquired wealthy by pious acts, come hither quickly in the morning.
